Since my friend, Vicki Watson, gave me this recipe 2 years ago, I have used it as a fast, easy, delicious, nutritious go to. It takes 15 min to cook. It has a ton of fiber. It is whole 30 compliant. But, is also hubby approved (Very Important). It was my meal last night. The first official day of my whole 30 adventure. This meal is so satisfying, that you might forget how healthy it is! Going to try and focus on the Cans instead of the Can-nots this month.
1 Lb organic grass feed beef or bison
1 Onion, diced (I didn’t have any so I used some dried chopped onions)
2 T Diced Garlic
2 T Paducah Olive Oil Toasted Sesame Oil (a little goes a long way)
1-2 T Garlic Olive Oil if my meat is very lean
1 T Organic Oriental Seasoning (or to taste)
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 T Coconut Aminos
1 head of cabbage and a few carrots (confession: I used prepared slaw mix most of the time)
Any other veggies that you like. The more the merrier!
1 head of Cauliflower, riced, or a bag of riced cauliflower.
Sesame Seeds (optional)
Brown meat & sauté onions in a LARGE skillet with a 1/2 the oil. Add remaining ingredients, cook for a few minutes longer. I like my veggies a little crispy. Plate and add additional aminos if you prefer. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and ENJOY!
